We build the software that runs the paperwork.
IQ Spark is a Canadian product company. We build operations software for insurance and for dental practices, and we train the teams who run it. Our products are for work governed by rules nobody wrote down, where the file has to survive being checked later. Start with something we made — it is below, and it works.
Insurance
Runs in browser
Sends nothing
Return premium, settled before the argument starts.
Cancellation refunds cause more client disputes than almost anything else on a broker's desk, because the two methods pay differently and nobody explains it first. Move the sliders.
schedule
Live & in development
A product line for each domain we know properly.
We pick domains where the rules are real, unwritten and expensive to get wrong. Then we build for that domain rather than bending a generic tool to fit it.
InsureFlow
Quote, decide, sign, bind and issue a specialty risk in one governed flow.
- Decision
- Accept, refer or decline the moment a submission lands
- Authority
- No premium shown on a referred risk until an underwriter releases it
- Signature
- E-signed with a hashed declaration on the record
- Servicing
- Certificates, endorsements, mid-term adjustment, instalments
DentaFlow
The insurance side of a dental front desk, built for Canadian rules from the start.
- Verify
- Coverage checked before the chair, not after
- Claim
- Routed through CDAnet without retyping
- Billing
- Provincial fee guides and CDCP eligibility
- Boundary
- Clinical records stay in your practice software, by design
A line is added to this schedule when we understand a domain well enough to build for it, and not before. Nothing is listed here that has not been started, and every entry carries a status that means what it says.

Different domains. The same four problems underneath.
A broker binding a risk and a dental receptionist verifying coverage are doing one job in different clothes: applying rules they cannot see, to a file that has to hold up when somebody checks it.
Rules nobody wrote down
Appetite, eligibility, fee guides, authority limits. They live in people's heads until someone leaves. We turn them into something the system enforces rather than something the team remembers.
A file that must hold up
An errors and omissions claim, a regulator, an insurer's audit. The question is always the same — show me what happened and when. So it gets recorded as it happens, not reconstructed afterwards from inboxes.
Money owed by somebody else
Premiums, refunds, claims, patient portions. The arithmetic is not hard. Doing it by hand, at speed, in front of a client, is how disputes start.
People nobody trained
The best system fails if the desk does not understand it. Within a month the team has quietly rebuilt the old process in a spreadsheet. That is why learning sits inside every product here rather than being sold separately afterwards.
development
Attaches to
every product
Learning runs across everything we build.
Not a separate business. A layer on top of every product, delivered as video so a new starter can be brought up to speed without booking anybody's calendar.
Product training
Short video modules for each product we ship. How the flow works, what the system will not let you do, and why it is built that way. Watched at the desk, not in a training room.
Skill libraries
The knowledge around the software — premium math, policy conditions, claims correspondence, plan billing. The material a new starter otherwise picks up by making expensive mistakes.
Live and applied
Hands-on sessions built around your own files, on site or remote, or running alongside a build. Canadian employers may be eligible for provincial workforce training grants toward the cost.

Start with a diagnostic, not a pitch.
We are a new company. You have no reason to trust a product pitch from people you have not worked with, so we sell the smallest useful thing first.
One business day
Tell us what is stuck.
Thirty minutes is usually enough to say whether it is a process problem, a software problem or a training problem — and what fixing it is worth.

IQ Spark Consulting Services Inc. builds software and provides training and advisory services. Content on this site is general information only. It is not insurance advice, dental advice, or an offer of coverage. Policy wordings and plan contracts are always the authority. The worksheets on this site are estimates and assume the conditions stated beneath each one; they run in your browser and send nothing anywhere.
